Question #1:
Am I the only one who thinks Legoland is stupid?
I mean, this is probably the only amusement park where there ISN'T something for everyone. Unlike Disneyworld, or the like, you have at least Epcot (for the grownups who like to travel to different cultures and cities around the world in a day, and roller coaster rides for teenagers, yet can appeal to kids & grownups as well)Even on the Legoland safari, you go on the ride and you look out and see a baboon!....made....of....plastic. (and they aren't even good). I know that sounds really really mean.
But, this is coming from somebody who LOVES amusement parks (and I DON'T think they are stupid), Disneyworld, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, etc. But Legoland seems surprisingly....limited to young boys. Young girls won't want to go there, their parents surely don't want to go there (unless their sons want to go), so it seems like a dealbreaker.
They should expand their horizons....if they want to make more money.
and Six Flags! I went there as a kid in Chicago, Illinois. rode the Raging Bull twice.
ur right i forgot that one. Legoland doesn't come close!

Can anyone tell me please?
if you can still get strawberry plants called "BRENDA" or "BRENDA'S", my father and my family grew them commercially around the 50's/60's maybe bit later , they really were THE best ever tasting strawberries, but I do feel as with many other varieties of crops they may be lost forever, but maybe not, fingers crossed you can help, perhaps someone is still growing them in their back garden or allotment.Question #5:
Should I phone the SSPCA?
Hi - I'm looking for some advise - My friend lives next door to a guy who has just got a new puppy which is a cross between and staffy and a pit bull - it's 13 Weeks old and is a lovely wee thing. However I am worried that this guy has only got the dog as a statement - we already suspect he is dealing drugs at his home and has got this dog as some kind of protection. The dog is very loving and play full and is often in my friends back garden - my concern is that he is mistreating the dog because whenever he goes anywhere near it, it cowers and whines. It's also got one of them big studded collars on which was so tight the dog was practically choking so I loosed it.Do you think I should phone the SSPCA will they do anything about it?
Thanks in advance for you advise.
Didn't mean to open a can of worms here I am just concerned for the welfare of the dog nothing more.
I will phone them but I do think they will not do anything.

Question #11:
When it comes to tanning my legs?
Okay so I was just wondering what people think is best when it comes to tanning my legs, basically i'm a 17 year old girl, i'm pale and i do tan sometimes but quite rarely, my arms have already picked up some colour but my legs usually just go a bit pink then back white, i have tanned before though so i know its not impossible.
Anyway its been quite sunny lately, and i like to wear shorts but i'm sick to death of tights they're just hot and uncomfortable and most importantly can't be worn with my gladiator sandals. I'm proper self concious of my pale legs because everyone else seems to be tanned so walking places with my legs out isn't really an option for me
I'm just after some natural tanning tips, just to make sure i tan instead of burning- so for example i know baby oil won't help
i was thinking of laying out in the garden tomorrow
i'd really appreciate it, thankyou.
when replying:
no fake tans- i wouldn't be asking if i didn't know they all turn me orange- even the expensive ones
no telling me sunbeds are the way forward
no telling me i'm going to get skin cancer either please
i'm obviously aware of risks etc.
cheers xx

Starting a container garden, need help?
I promised my nephew we'd plant flowers to attract butterflies, but the only place we have room for it is on concrete. I have a 13L x 22W container that I'm planning on filling with the following:Scarlet Bee Balm
Blue Fringe Daisy
Butterfly Blue Scabiosa
Tenor Tall Hybrid Phlox
Purple Coneflowers
Super Aster Daisies
Black-Eyed Susan
Can all these plants fit in that container, if not what size would I need?
and when is the best time to plant them? I won't get them until the end of September, most if not all will be sent bare root.
Question #14:
If we were really serious about "green" planet issues?
1. Why do so many people have green lawns they have to water frequently?(This wastes billions of gallons of water per year)
2. Why do we have fountains in public gardens?
(This not only wastes water, it wastes electricity)
3. Why aren't their separate bins to discard glass, aluminum and plastic containers
(Most public wastes cans don't allow for this)
4. Why do we use sink garbage disposals?
(All of this food scrap could be put into garden soil)
5. Why do farmers irrigate in the middle of the super hot day with sprinklers so high above the ground?
Question #15:
Is this a fair price for a bathroom re-model?
I'm having our master bath done and I need a new tub put in ( garden tub ) and possibly a new floor board underneath because the previous owners used the tub that was cracked and it dripped all underneath for...well a looong time. It smells musty in there and their could be mold. Anyway I'm also replacing a double sink, again the pipes were leaking and the people just used the sink didn't care, and although I can't see mold it smells musty...so I would just like to replace the sink all together.ANYWAY I had a few contractors come in ( keep in mind I'm buying the tub and sink if need be and most the supplies ) and I'm getting quotes of $1000...$800 was the lowest. That seems REALLY steep to me. The tub is above the floor ( you would have to know what a garden tub is ) so there is not much work and the sink..well IDK but it seems very steep, what do you think?
THANK YOU for any opinions!
We are only replacing a piece of the floor under the tub and putting in a garden tub ( it's plastic like, cheap ) The toilet does not need to be replaced..nor does the rest of the floor.
Question #16:
Neighbours...What do they get out of making my life hell?
This is going to be long but it's that pathetic, it's complicated to explain without sounding silly. My neighbours complain to the council about me all the time. The council don't act on it because I think they know they are just being horrible and very childish. They complain about banging and loud talking, there definition of banging is doing things like the dishes, cleaning and making noise that you have too, so yeah they are basically complain about me living. They are not letting me live. "Loud talking", well there definition of loud talking is having a normal conversation I really would love to suggest to them that it might not wind them up so much me having a conversation with someone if they stopped TRYING to listen. I hear their TV on and when I have a visitor, it goes off and they go very quiet. They actually complained about "loud talking" when a council man was here so that's when the council knew they were just trying to make my life hell...
I put my music on and she bangs on my door and calls me awful names, I would love to give them a piece of my mind but I just shut the door in her face because the council told me not to argue or confront them because they could turn it against me - but they are aloud to bang on my door with force and shout abuse at me? Maybe, I should start complain but it all seems so pathetic... I really don't want this.
I'm only 18 and this is my first place. I never have people in only family and close friends. I have put my all into decorating my flat and keeping my garden lovely even the man from the council said I'd done a great job for being in for such a short time :)
My neighbours are in their late 40s+ by the way. The complaints are always between 4pm-8pm never later, never earlier. I get in from college at 4pm so she basically notes it all down on her diary from the time I get in from college to the time I settle down. They even stamped on their floor to tell us to shut up when I had my nana and grandad here and we were laughing at some old family photos. That made me furious beyond belief because they gave my nana a fright!
I want to be able to enjoy my life but they are making it hell for me. It's playing on my mind so much that I had a dream that they killed me. They could have much worse neighbours than me I'd actually consider myself as a great neighbour if they had of given me a chance but they haven't even tried to talk to me or discuss what I'm doing to anger them so much. I also have a very old neighbour on the side of be that has her TV at an unbearable volume but they never ever complain about her. I have to use headphones sometimes because it's that loud I can't hear my own TV because I hate having it on blaring loud.
Any advice? and no, I can't do anything like kill their dog or send pizzas to their door because I don't want to get evicted and I could easily because I'm new to the tenancy and they have been their years. I have to keep my cool even though I just feel like going crazy on them.
Wow that is probably to long for someone to read, sorry, didn't realise how much I blabbered on but at least I've got it out of my system, I would appreciate if someone read it and had any advice for me.
I have plenty of uncles that could deal with them lol... but I'm not sinking low like that. They are old. If they dared to lay a finger on me there would be trouble though.
